After a solid Swiss Medical training in general and vascular surgery which started at Stanford University and because of his early interest in the various aspects of the venous circulation , Dr JP Bammatter wrote his thesis entitled « About venous photoplethysmography » .
Since then , his activity has been dedicated to medical , micro-surgical and cosmetic Phlebology , creating his own instruments.
Ultrasound has been part of all his vascular assessments for more than 20 years, in order to make an accurate diagnosis and to obtain better surgical outcomes in the long term, thus limiting the typical recurrences of strategic origin.
Endovenous laser has been part of his therapeutic arsenal since 2003 , later supplemented by radio frequency VnusFast closure.
Microsurgery (which leaves no trace and does not use classical stitches), is performed for all actions carried out, so is cosmetic micro-sclerotherapy in case of spider veins .
His early Endo-Laser results were already published in 2004 and presented to the international scene and in Swiss Universities.
